48V 15KW PowerJack Inverter Only starts Up After the Capacitors totally discharge

Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to fix my 48V 15KW PowerJack inverter.  I finally got it working, I have another problem.  When I turned the inverter on it worked just fine as long as I let it runs, but when I turned it off, it would not turn on untill I disconnected the DC power suply cable and turned on the fans.  When power totally drained from the inverter, then it worked again.  I noticed that when I turned it off then on, the Driver board green light did not turn on either.  After I drained the charge from the inverter, I turned on the inverter, the green light on the Driver board would turn on.  What am I missing? Can someone give me some idea where to look for the problem?  Thank you very much in advance.

Connect a  DC breaker  to shut off the battery  instead of  manually  disconnect the  DC  battery cable .

That's sounding like a fault/problem with the main power supply circuit on the control board.  The "power switch" simply connects/disconnects DC power to the power supply control chip...so if the chip doesn't have any power, then there's no output from it.  (Also possible that the main power supply control chip is not resetting when powered back up.  This is hinted at by the green light on the driver board not lighting: no power output from the main power supply circuit.)

Unfortunately trying to pinpoint/diagnose this issue can be rather difficult without significant electrical circuitry knowledge and test tools.  Poking around on the PCB with a meter (and with the inverter connected to power) to track down the problem is not something to do...unless you're very well acquainted with how electricity works.

The simplest check you could do would be to check and see if there's battery voltage on the wires to the power switch (when it's turned on & the inverter is failing to turn on.)
