pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box it arrived upside down and diagonal in a badly tattered box after being lost and relabeled etc in the fedex system etc who knows, i had been removing snow and we had a couple days above freezing so it was a little muddy in the driveway... i carefully opened it up the protective metal shield is what saved it... it has dents in that shield the correspond to the smashed l1 n1 terminal block... more snow coming next week
dickson
It had a 12 8 2022 date on it. so fairly freshly made via the PowerJack factory . My tranvformer was made after December 22 2022 and is 1/2 inch smaller than the ASL 10.0 . My ASL 8.0 is a lot bigger than the ASL 9.0 and should run a 4 ton heat pump this summer . My case is all thin sheet metal and is not stainless steel . The secondary L1 and L2 is exeztly 119 vac . I see your L1 N1 terminal block is broken and the protection cover is smash by Fed Ex . Ebay has not release my payment to the seller and is investigating the auction why the bid was 400 dollars at one minute and jump to over 700 dollars and I won . The seller want ME to cancel the day after the auction and I say no BUT the seller can not cancel .
pilgrimvalley
I recently won one auction where I did not get the bid typed in >>> where they had fake hidden bitters and only accidentally hit bid without the number punched in and won for 11 dollars more than the fake bidders so it is a rigged hacked eBay shill bid system going on but i will not cancel either as it is another 30k unit with a few more bells and whistles....for a total of $901.82 with $149.99 shipping and tax all included... my winning bid which i never even place was 713.00 dollars it di dthe same type of jump from 300 to over 680 then i won at $713 without bidding.... how can that be???? must be an temporary way to use other peoples money but i utilized paypal with my credit card so have t see how it works out... The new 30kw Powerjack forever inverter is worth 1000 dollars just for the transformer . The transformer has 2 separate secondary windings like the GS12kw transformer but a lot bigger . IT should run a 4 ton heat pump easy . Ebay message that I will get full refund if not deliver on the date the seller say on the auction . ALL the money to this seller is on HOLD and ready to be refunded . The other ebay sellers are ok with ebay .
pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box the transformer is about 11.25 inches diameter by 6 inches tall, and has 3 different hold down brackets, the case is thin stainless steel it has an AC in plug for test only that goes directly to l1 and n1 all screws were removed with the Milwaukee ECX bit made specifically for electric screws,>>>>,,,,worked like a charm for screw removal the transformer box has two brushless 48 volt high quality fans(that is what is printed on them) there is a large choke with windings off the transformer going thru it.... all windings have protective coverings label is 32 volt in pieces and parts seem pretty good
dickson
the transformer is about 11.25 inches diameter by 6 inches tall, and has 3 different hold down brackets, the case is thin stainless steel Your AMG ASL10.0 is 1/2 inch bigger than the old 5 wires ASL 10.0 with primary 36 vac . Your new ASL10.0 has 32 vac primary like the GS6kw primary 32vac . I do not know what the GS12kw primary is . The 2 separate secondary is like the GS12kw secondary . I remove all the brackets and the center bolt on my transformer .
pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box it seems rather odd though >>> the AC in test plug,,,,,why??? because the ground pin is grounded to the case,,,,, why is that an issue??? because if you connect to the AC electric grid the only place that the equipment ground is inter connected is at the main bonding screw....so it would be a dead short if you utilized the ac grid as the test ac in......correct???? I would need to run an extension cord out to the off grid power shed to get a floating L, N, and G.... beyond what some people understand about grounding ???? (((( I think the AC in test female plug is strictly to be used to test the transformer box all by itself to ensure there is no damage and it functions correctly)))) i do not hook any PowerJack inverters to the grid,,,,as that is just dumb, and asking for trouble....IMO i am an electrical neophyte but have a fairly good working knowledge of AC main Breaker panels.... the case ground >>>>> hmmm HMMM there is no terminal for the case ground on the transformer box that you connect to from the outside of the case.....so when the short occurs the case will be hot/live to the touch.... hmmmm HMMM have to investigate that more.... there are 4 separate secondary windings covered in white protective mesh that go to L1, N1, N2, and L2, there are a lot more primary windings >> i will have to look closer.... there are 12 primary winding leads 6 to the negative and 6 to the positive(split 3 to each large terminal post...seems like the gs12k and is tagged at 32 volts....the primary wires are covered with black tubing (likely a shrink type protective tubing).... thanks for the replies
dickson
the case ground >>>>> hmmm HMMM there is no terminal for the case ground on the transformer box that you connect to from the outside of the case.....so when the short occurs the case will be hot/live to the touch.... hmmmm HMMM have to investigate that more. I connect a copper wire from the transformer cover screw to the control box cover screw for grounding the 2 boxes . For RV or boat that has no ground rod the Neutral is bonded to the inverter case . The Neutral is floating if connected to the house and the ground is to the ground rod next to the main entrance . it seems rather odd though >>> the AC in test plug,,,,,why??? because the ground pin is grounded to the case,,,,, why is that an issue?? ........ That AC in test plug is not to be connected to grid or extension cord . It is for testing to see if the ptimary winding has AC input or secondary has AC output . That test plug should not be on the transformer box or someone may damage the control board by pluging into it . Best not to touch it .
dickson
there are a lot more primary windings >> i will have to look closer.... there are 12 primary winding leads 6 to the negative and 6 to the positive(split 3 to each large terminal post...seems like the gs12k and is tagged at 32 volts....the primary wires are covered with black tubing (likely a shrink type protective tubing)... The 6 positive primary wire is the size of the large cable in the control box to the 2 AC side heat sink . The same with the 6 negative primary . The large cable show that the inverter should output at least 9000 watts . The 32 vac primary is the same as the first GS12kw prototype . Sean do not know what the new transformer GS12KW primary voltage is but say maybe 30 vac on youtube .
pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box I am thinking of adding two external thick copper busbars to connect the 2 external positive and 2 external negative terminals ( they are already connected inside the transformer case anyways((( but with undetermined wire size ))), >>> ,,by adding the external busbars I can more easily connect the large 4/0 copper cables with large tinned copper lugs and be sure the connection is rock solid....no arcing for me.... some of the internal chassis wiring could easily be upgraded as well for a small investment... 12 primary wires = 6 pairs of primary wire windings coming into the 30000 watt LF PSW SP transformer...DC input (32 volts in) actually it would be 32 volts AC already so their labeling is a bit mis-leading as is per-usual... ((I think) I only an electrical neophyte so please don't trust my full description) all needs to be tested yet...🤔 and 4 secondary windings going out of the step-up transformer covered in a white mesh that go to L! N1 N2 and L2 on the back outside terminal blocks ... 120 volts out it sure looks like the real MaCoy.....hope it will be a winner,,,,, it is a heavy ASL10 transform AMG4 version.....man handling with ben t legs trying to turn so not to kill my back off ..... all the threaded machine screws came out and all went back in so far so good....just need to replace the broken terminal block on L1 and N1.... 🤔🤔😎 a balmy 18 degrees Fahrenheit so I will go do some more interior clean up today etc... and avoid the cold weather as much as possible....
pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box the PowerJack seller is sending the 2pcs of 2 terminal black connector to repair the 30k transformer box.... hope soon... I will get more pictures and remove the inner transformer brackets in a few more days maybe..... I was super busy doing repairs on rental house installing new exterior doors ( making them 36 inch wide vs 32 inch wide existing doorways to the basement entrances....and some cement threshold work so never a dull moment... I hired / found a 65 year old carpenter to help yesterday....he is retired but has 47 years of experience as a carpenter..... and tells many of the same sad stories ..... you can not get the young folks to work as they seem to think they are entitled or something.....🤔🤔😎 it is supposed to snow on Monday or Tuesday.. hope they are wrong....still scooping ice and snow away...

pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box I received 4 replacement terminal blocks yesterday 3/20/2023,,,,via FedEx,,,,,one terminal block was damaged but the other three were fully intact. it is amazing how even though it was a terribly light package inside a bubble wrapping inside a cardboard box inside 3 shipping bags one still gets damaged.... FedEx or somewhere along the shipping route must just pile this stuff up with no concern of shipping damages... but at any rate i only needed one and have 2 spares plus a slightly damaged spare terminal block,,,, they were shipping from China....i believe....😎🤔🤔🤔 20 days from the date the seller said they would express ship the replacement parts,,,,, so still not too bad timing!!!! pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box edit: the tracking of the terminal blocks shows they were shipped from Hong Kong on the 13th of March and arrived at my mailbox on the 20th of March so the express shipping was 8 days...
dickson
the tracking of the terminal blocks shows they were shipped from Hong Kong This Hong Kong seller got ebay to remove all negative review . This buyer pay 345 dollars for a 20000 watts Powerjack . Ebay put a hold on the money to this seller until I recieve all the items I won on the seller auction . This seller is making delivery to me and will probably not be renove from ebay . He has warehouse in Philadelphia and East Lansing and Walnut . pilgrimvalley
i received an offer from helen (aka ANA ) who wanted to sell me some returnerd 20k and 26k inverters for reasonable price but they did not know what was wrong with them... i think they are all the same seller,,, just more than one ebay account... i have lately utilized paypal and still waiting for another order.... it is in limbo land right now due to the long projected ship times.... seems like a bad game they play to tarnish their reputation... i have had two sellers disappear after i made complaints but the product did actually arrive eventually from powerjack,,,, they know who they sell too... i still think they hacked the system or they are just too big of an ebay account so ebay puts up with them,,, remember when sid talked them up as they had a good working relationship... i think powerjack just slowed their unwanted competition and sean never paid for the stuff he is peddling... dum and dummer will keep dreaming
dickson
They are just too big of an ebay account so ebay puts up with them, ,...... Powerjack is big amd powerful on ebay so ebay remove the negative review . You know the relation with Jack is good if Genetry Solar had pre-order 500 GS12kw inverters . Jack is not going to waste his time making less than 20 inverters and not using any Powerjack parts . YOU received an offer from helen (aka ANA ) who wanted to sell some returnerd 20k and 26k inverters for reasonable price but they did not know what was wrong with them. ...... I do not know if Helen is ANA but since you do not have a bench test to test each pieces of the inverter I do not want to buy as she give NO Warranty like Sean rebuilt 15kw inverter . One bad FETs will blow up the inverter and 2 complete mainboards is 400 dollars and a rev 11.3 control board is 120 dollars . This is why Helen is selling so cheap as over 500 dollars is the cost to repair very likely . A working 25kw Powerjack is 550 dollars on ebay auction and has warranty for DIY repair like mosboard and LF driver and breaker and terminals . The auction ebay seller is hiding my auction items for 5 months but I expect to get delivery or paypal will teach the seller a lesson again .
pilgrimvalley
I have a second 30,000 watt LF PSW SP PowerJack inverter enroute the eBay seller replied.....I always try to buy 2.....the second 30,000 watt PowerJack inverter I bought at eBay auction for $919.59 including shipping and taxes. so for a $1886 dollar investment I will have two 30,000 watt PowerJack modular inverters.....if they run 9k continuously each that will run almost anything I could need off grid for the moment.... so I guess the previous deceptions where they never delivered the inverters for $1500 each was to my benefit as now it saved me over $1200 dollars for the newer upgraded versions...🤔😎 it is hard to imagine them making much of a profit as Sean said it cost about $1.50 dollars per pound in the USA to ship and these weigh about 160 pounds each or so.... eBay auction.....slow but sure... the slow boat ride method takes some where around 90 days.... I think the product is available sooner they just use the time to float the money for nothing... but I have lately been using paypal as a second way of guarantee the delivery to combat potential fraud.... I think I will buy a second harbor freight hydraulic lift cart to help maneuver these heavy beasts around the work shop.....at my off grid farm....my back definitely says yes please!!!!! 🤔🤔😎😎
dickson
I think the product is available sooner they just use the time to float the money for nothing... but I have lately been using paypal as a second way of guarantee the delivery . .... Powerjack has three warehouse to hide the inverters and say ocean shipping cause the delay for 5 months . Jack know that Paypal will refund in 6 months . I think people who pre-order and pay with Paypal to Sean will be refunded in 6 month automatically maybe ??
pilgrimvalley
another PowerJack 30000-watt LF PSW SP 2-box module type AMG inverter arrived today March 28th 2023, via ups with a signature required from Geniqua Corporation (CA)??? what or who is Geniqua Corporation??? I think this is a 12/21/2023 order so less than 90 day from order to delivery including the slow boat ride from China.... must be one i paid via paypal....???? for a measly $753.43 dollars including tax and shipping. opened it up and both parts only single boxed with some old Styrofoam packing... the heavier transformer box was sitting on a Styrofoam bottom.... less damage than the previous one but it had a broken fuse holder and no plastic terminal covers??? go figure?? the front is stainless steel and the bottom.... the rest not sure but it is thin and painted silver.... with PowerJack stickers etc... and the typical powerjack manual that does not match this inverter with the 3 powerjack girls more later, Edited March 29 by pilgrimvalley typo
pilgrimvalley
Geniqua Corporation shows up as an importer in Walnut California so maybe a logistics company insuring the shipment made it to the destination? next to the PowerJack walnut California warehouse???? dickson
Geniqua Corporation shows up as an importer in Walnut California . This is the name that Jack use for the warehouse that the ebay eeller hide all the inverters . I am getting items from Philadelphia which is air freight from China . Walnut get items from ocean shipping . My 30000 watts Powerjack is now running 20 hours a day . My 15000 watts is switch every other day . Your two 30kw Powerjacks can put out 13000 watts it connected to 2 separate AC breakers and 2 separate battery strings .
