pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30,000 watt LF PSW SP inverter in the modular 2 stainless steel case design AMG version: yep, it has been an very elusive machine to obtain but finally the second box is supposed to arrive today 2/21/2023.... The stainless steel control box and the cables arrived yesterday via FedEx 2/20/2023... it has protective steel endcaps on each end >>> i will remove them later today... evidently they were working to ship through the Chinese holidays... with the 149 dollar shipping (direct from China) and tax it cost $966.81 total..... will it do 12,000 watts continuous???? more later 🤔😎 I will post pictures and details later, I unboxed the control box this morning before the sun came up. pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30,000 watt LF PSW SP inverter in the modular AMG4 version: As you see the stainless steel control box has no UPS or charger function or fan switch.. it has the 2 connections for a Thor's Note Book but I did not buy one of those for this inverter (yet) possibly just meter it out and add a meter with a shunt if I choose to... I rarely look at any meters and do not need or want to babysit things 24/7.... just simple and less problems of unknown cause that way.... I won't use a charge function or a ups function via the inverter anyway!!! the battery is the UPS powered and replenished by the solar PV panels 😎 many users have had problems with the charge functions in the past , so better to KISS (keep it simple XXXXXX) I will never hook it up to the grid electric system as it is for off grid use whole house, farm , & shop use etc.... I bought some Milwaukee ECX bits special for electric screws but I used a regular Philips screw driver to remove the galvanized shipping covers so far... more later, Wednesday 2/22/2023 blizzard conditions here again 😒

I will open the separate modular 30000 watt transformer box eventually...to check it out... 🤔😎 Edited February 22 by pilgrimvalley add information
dickson
ASL10 toroidal transformer is reported to measure 5.5 inches by 10 inches.... I will open the separate modular 30000 watt transformer box eventually...to check it out. My 5 wires ASL10.0 measure 5 1/2 by 11 in one transformer box for the NOT AMG with 3 AC terminal . Your AMG transformer box for AMG will have 4 AC terminals to match the AMG control box with L1 N1 N2 L2 . Hope the seller send you the 4 AC terminals transformer box . ( I think I will only utilize the 220-Volt AC output on this inverter.. ) mean to use jumper 2 to 3 and not how it is in your picture . The new ASL8.0 transformer made only for the AMG will also work and replace the ASL10.0 and the ASL11.0 which is a 3 AC terminal box and not for AMG . The new ASL8.0 is huge and heavy .
pilgrimvalley
1 hour ago, dickson said: mean to use jumper 2 to 3 and not how it is in your picture . yes, you are correct,,,, I will use the jumper between 2 to 3 to utilize the 220-volt AC output....and run the bigger loads on the 220 volts....on its own separate breaker panel... thank you Dickson.... I definitely do not want to give bad direction to anyone else >>>. I just have not done that part as I work rather slow at times.... presently painting the inside of a house and family and the farm chores keep me busy etc... I am still trying to get the android cellular camera to function better to take some pictures.... I ordered a 3 point crimper for work in tight spaces today.... improve my electrical tools selection.... I unboxed the SQUARE D 600-volt DC rated 200 amp safety disconnect switch yesterday and made sure it would function correctly..... the snow storm seems to be slowing the delivery of some things...🤔😎 thanks and have a great evening....😎
pilgrimvalley
Some of your packages from xiamenyixinshenggongmaoyouxian are delayed. pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : Are the CHNT 100 amp breakers wired for each leg of the 220 volt AC output????.... ((((breaker on the left for leg 1 and breaker on the right for the second leg )))) I need to open up the control box.... the lid on the control box is stainless steel, but as i look at it closer the two ends are painted metal and not sure if they are stainless steel or not but I know one thing for sure is that they are not high quality stainless steel because they are able to accept a magnet dish for parts.... good high quality stainless steel is not magnetic. the factory jumper prewire on the control box was set up for 110volt.( I will change that factory pre-wired jumper for 220 output only) thanks all, it is going to get super cold out with the wind chill and more snow today (minus 14 degrees Fahrenheit tonight plus wind)🤔😒 but it is February in the north (typical cold).... stay inside out of the cold and have a great day...😎

pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: the 30k transformer box weighs 134 pounds of the 2 box modular 30k inverter, the contro box was 19 kg as reported by fedex or roughly 41.8 pounds.... that will be a challenge to maneuver the transformer box >>>> guaranteed 🤔
pilgrimvalley
176 pounds and FedEx usually cost about a buck a pound,,,,, so $149 dollars shipping was within reason i guess they get nothing for the boat ride expense end of it,,,,🤔 how can they do it so cheap???? dickson
how can they do it so cheap???? I get free shipping with DHL in 3 days from China . Ebay seller hide the auction iinverters in US warehouse for 5 months before shipping and the ebay seller know Paypal give refund in 6 months . The seller get free use the money if no dispute from Paypal .
pilgrimvalley
that is sad that they play this hide the product to get free use of money..... likely because the eBay auction was so inexpensive,,, but I think they hacked the eBay system....eBay will cancel them eventually.... yes, it seems they actually have several warehouses in the USA....as they ship out of at least 3 different warehouses...in the USA
pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: if you notice they purposely misspell inverter (ilverter in their newer ads with new sellers)>>>> perhaps the way to claim to be an new seller and a different product.... I note that it is in a PowerJack box and even if identical products for the most part...still a different sticker is the change... I have 2 identical control boxes that (one came with a German language manual) I do not speak German but my friends do ...but still the same manual (with the PowerJack girls) which does not correspond much to the newer Module version.... 🤣🤣🤣 one warehouse is in Lansing Michigan, one is Philadelphia, PA and the 3rd is out of Walnut, CA >>>> those are the 3 i have seen in their ads in the USA...that they sh[p from.... PayPal payment seems to be a good solution to part of the issue... the elusive 30K transformer box is scheduled to arrive today via FedEx....February 28th, 2023..... I ordered it (((the elusive 30,000 watt PowerJack LF PSW SP modular version inverter))) on December 5th, 2022 so still faster than August 2022....🤔🤔🤔

I have had the control box for the modular unit for 8 days it arrived on 2/20/2023 ....via the Philadelphia, PA warehouse.... pilgrimvalley
my last PowerJack deliveries did not have any of the Styrofoam packing but utilized boxes and some cardboard to protect it in shipping..... the Styrofoam was always broken anyway and the Styrofoam static cling was aweful..... still>>> I would have to question its ability to withstand the shipping torture test that FedEx often does.... double boxed in PowerJack boxes with cardboard filler???/ at least I can burn the cardboard in the dunnage pile.... pilgrimvalley
PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : PowerJack 30k inverter: elusive 30K transformer box is scheduled to arrive today via FedEx....February 28th, 2023 it is labeled as an asl10 transformer on the bottom amg4 also etc the very heavy 30k transformer box arrived yesterday (February 28th 2023), but the front connector was damaged so I will need to fix it or wait for a replacement part, basically the protective shield smashed the plastic part when some person /persons in the delivery chain decide to drop it multiple times. the double boxing helped a lot the metal protective shield for shipping likely helped the most but at 134 pounds the transformer box is just too heavy for one person... I helped the FedEx man off load it to a pallet, I opened it outside...he had to leave quick as he said they (FedEx track the amount of time he is at every stop. he said he had it the previous day but they called him back as his 11 hour work and drive time would put him over the allowed dot driver allowed time. I went an retrieved my 2 wheel cart and a smaller pallet and removed the protective shield and found the smashed plastic electric connector....basically it is an insulated junction of wire so I could use a different insulated connector I have on hand and reconnect the 3 wires until a replacement part arrives, but many other things to do on the multitask list at this moment... so there will be a delay to use it... I had to enlist some family help to get it inside up the 3 steps with the cart after i aired the tires up on the cart....and then I repositioned it on a small table for later dissection and repair... bummer bummer bummer SXXT happens 🤔🤔😎
dickson
.basically it is an insulated junction of wire so I could use a different insulated connector I have on hand and reconnect the 3 wires until a replacement part arrives, ...... The old ASL10. tramsformer box has 3 wires terminal block L1 N L2 . The AMG has 4 wires terminal block L1 N1 N2 L2 . Is that AC output terminal block match the control box ? The old transformer box will not work as the positive T1 and negative T2 wires are reverse .
