Sometimes simple is best...

Is it dirty/dusty?
Are you certain about your power draw? (You're not actually overloading it...) Systems tend to gain more load over time...

Sounds like yours doesn't have the verbal alarm like mine... when the alarm goes off, you don't get a voice telling you what it's alarming about?

My 12000w PJ often tripping the breaker when switching to charging mode, Regardless which breaker . Wondering if the charging board  is bad for  pulling  too much current like a motor  causing an inrush surge .even with the single dedicated 20 amps  breaker.
Would I need some type of soft start inrush current device, a choke or resistor…….. this  PJ machine has been nothing but a challenge.

any advice!

Thanks.

Word of wisdom: the use of charge / AC input on any PJ inverter is almost guaranteed to result in inverter failure--as any venerable PJ customer will tell you.

What you're seeing is the result of very poor firmware in the control board MCU.  I'm surprised it doesn't blow up every single time it transits.

Replacing boards/parts will not solve the issue.

Thank you for the info!

if this this is a known issue, I wonder if PJ has  a solution or just let it ride as long they continue selling a tone  on EBay.. I came home this evening the breaker tripped  and was tripped earlier this morning  before I left , this has become more frequent now…. Very disappointing

"As long as it sells, there's no reason to change it."  As far as I know, the firmware in the MCU hasn't changed ever since they switched to the Microchip MCU.
